Our goal for serving is not to count and keep track of the hours that we have committed to others, but to make a difference in the lives of others and to make positive changes in our own lives. Here is a list of some of our accomplishments and places we have served. You will find this list only touches on the impact this project has on our students' lives. Making valentine cards at Union Gospel Mission with women and children Making Easter baskets at Union Gospel Mission with women and children 925 pounds of food collected for Tarrant Area Food Bank Served at First H.A.N.D. ministries helping with the mobile food bank Prepared and served lunch at Center of Hope Served dinner at Union Gospel Mission Craft and playdate with children at Pythian Home Christmas Carols and visits to White Settlement Nursing Home Collected blankets for Presbyterian Night Shelter Raised over $1000 during the morning after our Overnight Experience Participated in multiple poverty simulations held by Center of Hope 1090 pounds of pet food collected Collected household items for 2 apartments for Operation Movement $1000 donated to Presbyterian Night Shelter Students served at Mission Arlington, Presbyterian Night Shelter, Broadway Plaza Retirement Home, and Blessing of the Pets 4000 Food Items Collected $1000 to Presbyterian Night Shelter with provided two meals and other necessities Served at First H.A.N.D.
